Bionano technology /bionanoscience is the area of future scientific innovations. In developed nations universities are establishing these departments and they are planning for high level of research . Many of the problems can be solved , by developing nano particles and taking trials on the targets which comprise particular disease.Eventhough the applications are many, the application related to medical science will gain prime importance. This is again an interdisciplinary area and the combined efforts of chemical engineers, biotechnologits , microbiologits, biophysicists, chemists and biochemists are essential. university of manchester in UK, University of Delft , netherlands etc. are focussing their attention in this upcoming field. Probably developing country like India may also takeup this challenging scientific discipline. Universities in colloboration with biotech industries may have to takeup this challenge .
